The founder of facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has finally announced the soon-to-come dislike button on facebook. The long awaited thumbs-down will enable users to dislike all kinds of posts including pictures, videos, feeds and even friends.
The facebook team is working on the new feature, which will soon become functional among other ‘FB-Buttons.’ Users had been suggesting the future since the conception of the social network, but Zuckerberg never yielded. Now, he explains the change of his mind based on situations when people post about their family member who died, and friends had no option but to like the post, which doesn’t seem fit.
According to the Mark Zuckerberg, the dislike button will give the people the power to share empathy with other people on the facebook. That’s in his words, but we all know everybody has a good use for a dislike button, don’t they? The date is NOT set, but we know it is just around the corner. So thumbs up to Zuckerberg for enabling people to thumb-down.
